At Altruistiq we believe that business has the capacity to create benefit for all its stakeholders, but that this transition to stakeholder capitalism requires a new kind of corporate intelligence. Our company is developing the tools to underpin that intelligence - to track environment, social and governance indicators, define what needs to be done, and channel resources to where they are needed most. This could mean helping the world’s largest brands to change farming practices in India, wind down coal power plants in Africa, or increase the reusability of packaging materials in Europe.
We are building a SaaS product to help the world’s largest companies increase the sustainability of their global supply chains. We are an early-stage venture, backed by some of the world’s most recognisable names in sustainable investing, including the founders of multiple successful tech ventures (including 3 exits, and one unicorn), former chairs of Barclay’s Bank and UBS, and multiple CEOs from the private equity/asset management industry. Our company is post-revenue, working with category leaders in private equity, FMCG, food service and logistics. We are currently facing a massive, growing demand base and scaling up the team rapidly to meet it.

What would you be doing:
About the Role
1. Design to save the world:Help us define our product design from small details to solving bigger features Own design from ideation and research to visual design and implementation Design with the user in mind Present your designs to stakeholders and subject experts and implement feedback 2. Build and maintain the design system:Ensure a consistent brand and UI experience across all designs Maintain a scalable design system Think of accessibility and inclusivity 3. User research and user testing:Participate in face-to-face interviews Build task and surveys to test your designs Document actionable insights 4. Learn and educate:Take advantage of in-house learning tools and experts to learn about sustainability to better understand the problems our clients face Use your learning to better solve design challenges Educate through your designs: keep in mind the diversity of our users’ knowledge of sustainability and what they need to do
What we are looking for:
- minimum of 2 years of experience
- ideally experience in software product design and B2B space
- expertise in turning complex problems into simple and engaging designs/products
- strong knowledge of interaction design, visual design, information architecture and prototyping
- Experience working closely with multi-disciplinary teams/cross-functional squads
- Good communicator and experience in remote collaboration
- A deep knowledge of modern web UI patterns
